Default What FMIC fits easily and still retains foglights?

Just need an idea of which makes of classic FMIC can be fitted without having to lose the foglights? Cutting a little of the inner wings I can cope with, but the foglights must stay...

Ahh yes forgot that, I also have aircon and ABS and definitely don't want to lose them either. The HKS looks good, does the hybrid definitely leave everything else in place too?

Presumably with all of them you lose the airbox and have to replace it with an induction kit?

i have a hybrid one on my classic and there is no way that the fog lights could stay on with it. I have had to fit sti fog light covers to cover the gap where the lights used to be. I don't know if theres more than one kit availiable but with mine there is no way the lights could stay. I have still got abs and aircon though
Edited to say i also had to take the arc box off and put a cone filter on

i had one from api and i could still fit fog lights on my type r if i wanted. the core is bigger than hks and the price was a bit cheaper i had to loose the air box and change the battery for one that wasnt as tall as the origanal as the positive terminal was fouling the intercooler pipe to inlet manifold

Yeah as far as I know airbox has to go. I think someone told me about a Pace Intercooler that can keep standard airbox but never looked into it as I was happy to get rid of airbox.

The Hybrid fits with air con and fog lights/PIAA Spots etc. The O/E air box has to go.
An APS CAK can be made to fit if you are not aiming for high power. Do NOT fit the APS CAK without a remap as your MAF Sensor will need rescaling. Without a remap, iy may end in a costly rebuild.

Its behind a bit of mesh thats been painted black. Its not a new FMIC either, so not the usual bling stainless steel type look.

Well I think that pretty much answers everything then. Does the hybrid clear the standard battery as well?

It clears the battery but one of the fitting tricks, where required, is to cut the pipe near to the screen wash bottle and add a silicon joiner. This gives additional adjustment in all directions.

Am I right in thinking that you can supply and fit the Hybrid's Harvey? If so what is the cost as this is my next modification on MY95 WRX.

Does this include the classics, MY00? If so who does the mod for the APs CAI?

Wrexy : Yes. M/Y 93-00 Classics. We carry out the mod when we fit the FMIC ourselves.

Gatecrasher3 : You are right in what you think but I do not want to fall foul of the W.M. by breaking the rules and posting commercial information but if you e-mail me per my profile, I will give you all the info you want.

Harvey,

Im in Greece m8 and I obviously cant get you to fit it. I do have the APS CAI with a TMIC fitted on my MY00 at the moment with a JB Ecutek remap which has accounted for the CAI. I want to fit the FMIC and was going to toss the CAI away for a K&N 57kit however to do this would require another remap to get the MAF scale map back to normal. So a lot of mucking around.

Can I send you the CAI for the mod? That's if that's how its done, or what else can I do to keep the CAI and avoid the remap?
