Default FITTING A SCOOBY ECU

any one got any fitting instructions fot fitting a scooby ecu to a standard import ecu i belive you have to cut 1 wire/ressister is it L1 or J1 ?

i have put the ecu chip board in and cut J1 but the car wont run and makes a clicking noise from under the dash when i turn the ignition on it looks like iv been sold a duff board by a nother scooby owner how disapointed am i in him and his little scam

Is it the board from you other thread, as J1 looks to be already cut in those pictures.
Do not cut L1 as as not sure what that does.

Also check that the ScoobyECU board has all it's legs in the socket and that none have bent and missed.
It's quite tricky getting them all line up with the socket fitted in the UK ECU's

Re-join the link(s) and run it without the ScoobyECU. This should run a standard UK 11.47psi map which will be slightly better fuelling/ignition wise then a early WRX map.
