piper cross

Just fitted a Pipercross induction kit to my 2000 wrx uk wagon. Sounds very loud, like a loud whistling when accelarating and a huge dump when easing off power. Should the dump be this loud even without a dv?

it would be fairly loud compared to standard, but i guess just make sure that everythings tighened up properly anyway.

yep, its normal m8, mine was exacltly the same. Its just the turbo induction & recirc air blowing back into the inlet and you got no air box to supress the sound.
