Common Question or Stupid Question?
I'm looking to get a new exhaust for my 98 turbo wagon, I don’t want to **** about when the MOT is due so will probably not decat my car (I know most people be against that) but to try and get a little bit of a power gain if I get a new back box is there any sports cats available or I have seen on here there may be 2 cats on the car will I get away with just removing one if this is the case?
Also does anyone know a few more specifics on the CO2 emissions part of the MOT?
Many Thanks
Stig

i'd like to know, i have decat centre but the front one is still on, and i've bee told by one person that as my car is a '92 it doesn't even need a cat to pass an mot, but does anyone else know the exact rules?
Mine is a K reg and it passed the new mot with a full decat. For your info, there is only the one cat on a 92 and that is in the downpipe, the "centre" cat is just a silencer.
Decat away and free those ponies
