Default Boost levels STi PPP

Just fitted a boost gauge to my 05 STi PPP and have noticed it's boosting under what I imagined it should, generally around 1 Bar (BAR gauge) where as I thought it should be around 1.3 Bar. Noticed on 2 occasions where it has indicted about 1.3 Bar but normally peeks around 1. Does that sound a bit low? Car drives fine, no difference to how it's always driven so it's only the fitting of the gauge that's got me wondering. Does the ambient air temperature affect boost levels? Been very warm lately. Could it be the calibration of the gauge?

Any thoughts

Dave

Cheers guys...

Getting conflicting info though, posted this on general too and someone said it was about right (same as theirs, before mapping). Not sure on what it reads on tickover, I'll have a look this eve. Probably down to the gauge more than anything.

Cheers.

Different setup to yours, but....

Following an ecutek remap, mine reads -0.64bar on tickover, 1.2 to 1.25bar on full throttle, normally peaks at max 1.33bar but has hit 1.35bar on one occasion.

All displayed on my Data Monitor rather than gauges and on an MY01 WRX (which has a TD04, which is a different turbo to yours IIRC).
