Default Noobe... Advice welcome ;)

Hi Guys

I picked up my first Impreza today, its a 2001 2L Turbo WRX (UK Spec), quite happy with what i paid for it. looks like the wheels have been upgraded along with the exhaust.

Just really wanted to say "Hi" and what next on the modification front, the engine is completely standard, anyone give me any suggests for what to try first.

Cheers Guys

Thanks

Knobby.

Looks spot on mate, my first suggestion would be either a full exhaust system or a headlight conversion.

depends on budget but the usual is a sports cat downpipe and maybe system, new panel filter. Ported headers as well which can bring the boost in earlier. That will give you a bit more power for not much outlay. After that you need to reach further into your pockets for things like a remap.
Another good starting point is the suspension and brakes

First mod should be replacing the orange wing reflector with a clear one

Then start on the exhaust. Back box and centre and work your way up to a decat or sports cat down pipe.
By the time you've done that you will have read lots more on here and have ideas way beyond what you can afford
