increase fueling without remap
hi just wondering if there is a way to increase fueling without a remap.. i have a dawes running on my 98 uk turbo wagon set at 1.0bar and am a little paranoid bout it running lean and melting expensive bits... i cant afford a remap at the moment so is there a way to chuck in a bit more fuel to cure any lean worries? im gonna pull a plug tomorrow and see how it looks..cars got a decat downpipe, dawes@1.0bar, pipercross panel filter.
thanks

your going to have to buy the afr which is ? 150 ish then it needs setting up properly which will cost again ? why not just have an ecu chip instead. not as expensive as a remap but at least your fueling will be ok

With a sensible non-MAF misreading intake, exhaust and using SUL with a healthy fuel system and engine 1.0 bar will not be a problem. It will not be lean.
A single power run on rollers will allow listening with det cans for det and putting a wideband lambda up the tailpipe to check fuelling.
My main experience was with MY00 UK spec turbo, on that with a bit of octane booster, exhaust and fuel pump it ran 1.5 bar no problems.
