Type R oil check
Checked the oil level on my typre R last night, and the dip stick looks - well odd.
Much shorter dipstick than normal, with a kink and a pink rubber bung about half way down. Is this right for a 2000 type R?
The oil level looked fine, but the oil was really clear and a very light film, rather than a 'thick sploge' like I usually saw on my other cars. Oil was changed by Tileys Subaru at the 60000 service about 6 weeks back.
Does this sound right?? Pressure and temp per gauges are fine.
