Use fine fishing line or strong nylon sewing thread to saw through the foam pad. Heat the bootlid with a hair dryer (or similar) or just face the sun at this time of year to soften the remaining adhesive and gently rub off the foam left with the pad of your fingertips. Any stubborn adhesive can be removed with WD40. Clean, polish and wax the bootlid.
Are you removing it 'cos it's spelt wrong
