URGENT!! ECU reset, now only getting 0.7bar boost, help!!!
Please help off for rolling roading tomorrow, just fitted new plugs (7's in place of 6's) reset the ECU, now I'm stuck in what I presume is safe mode at 0.7bar.
car is a 2000 P1 and I'm on the rolling road with it tomorrow!!!

reset it again, or disconnect the battery for 10 mins to do, then drve to warm up off boost (12 miles min), the select 5th at 2800 rpm and ese boost up to 0.7 bar and hold without overboost to 5k rpm, that will kick the ecu learning off and should raise the advance multiplier up, if its still the same you have a genuine problem (probably failing maf) andd you should not run it on the rollers.
Why on earth did you reset the ecu for a plug change, you lost all its learning and actually reduced ign to base.

bah ill go fill it with fuel and drive around for hours then, its an ecutek remap btw if that makes any difference?

How did you reset, by disconnecting the battery or connecting the green and black connectors under the dash, if the latter make sure you have unplugged both green and black.
