Default missing a little..

on hard acceleration, say in 3rd the car feels likes its missing now and again, low down its fine but as the revs rise i can feel a small hesitation, only for a mili second but is there... is this time for plugs to be changed? the cars on 87k now and is a uk turbo wagon, my 98, has decat downpipe and hayward and scott back box, dawes set at 1.0 bar, pipercross panel filter.

I have the same car, all new ignition parts inc fuel cleaner and mine still does the same as yours..one of them subaru foibles I think m8.

Had this problem with my 97 STi.If you haven't any faults in the ECU then I would suggest changing leads and plugs (make sure the plugs are gapped correctly).
As it turned out my MAF and Lamba sensor were knackered aswell.
Pretty sure someone with more tech will be able to help you some more.

Check your ignition coils for cracks, MY93 WRX was doing the same 3 of them were cracked.
