those injectors are enormous.....do you have a bhp target?

you may be limited by the top mount intercooler for much more power.

IF your vf22 is making 385 you're not going to gain much from going to the sr40 as they never make the 400bhp claimed from what I've read. Not sure about sr55.

As Neilo said you have a few bottle necks in your spec, yet have massoof injectors..?!!

IMHO you firstly need to go full 3" ex system, FMIC, tubular headers (possibly beyond ported oem..?) and maybe a TD05 20g as IMHO the 385 you think you have, probably isn't. IYSWIM..

Oh, and dump the dump valve..!

hes got a VF22 hybrid from TD i think, which is what i have, 385 is possible, but on the limit....

TBH, your block wont like going over 400, so i think that you would be on borrowed time if its a daily driver.

Without going rotated you may be limited, and also as jase says, the exhaust wont be the most efficient. So without chaging the exhaust, and intercooler i would say thats pretty much as powerful as your going to realitstically get!!

nothing will, there are too many limitations on your car....the exhaust is too small the intercooler isnt good enough. The headers arent good enough.

If you just put a big turbo on it wont be performing well because your other modifications arent good enough for the turbo.

Erm, As per Jasonius/Neilo...

You really must get the exhaust to a full 3" system and get preferably get tubular headers/up-pipe and ditch the TMIC for a FMIC.

I think the only time I've heard of a TMIC being sucessful for over 400bhp was on Andyf's Type R when he had a huge homemade TMIC with electric fans underneath AND the relevant supporting mods.

what you ask isnt really possible....you cant have bags of low down torque and something that will boost strongly until 7500rpm, you generally get one or the other, not both.

With a big turbo you will get no power low down but lots at the top end.

with a small turbo you will get good low response and power but no top end power....

Caliber,

You have to understand that your engine is only good for so much power, if you have it boosting (peak) to 7-7.5k before it trails off it will break, simple as that.
Every mod that you do to your car reduces its efficiency and reliability, just bolting bigger turbo's on and expecting gains is like shoving your hand into a pharana infested river and not getting it chewed off, its not going to happen.
You want more power then you need to spend considerably more cash on supporting mods like decent internals.

Tony

You won't just be able to bolt the turbo on and expect results. You will need supporting mods such as a front-mount intercooler, engine internals, brakes, transmission, 3 inch exhaust system, remap etc etc. Otherwise, you will actually end up having a lot less power/torque.

You CANNOT SAFELY run over 400bhp on the top mount intercooler.
If you don't want to listen to anyones advice... here you go.....
Buy a TD05 20G from www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk , or go even bigger, I don't care, its not my car!
