Default Prodrive ECU worth getting

I've got a standard bugeye with a replacement panel filter and prodrive backbox only. Would it be worth getting a second hand prodrive ECU - considering the rest of the exhaust is standard (probably change the downpipe next year)?

I know a ecutek remap would be best but money is tight.

Better to get Andy Forrest to do a custom remap of the existing ecu.
He's based in Port Seton but can come to you. Costs £500 + Vat plus travel.

Get mine done in a month, but apparently much better driveability as well as more power.

Yep - probably very true and I'm best getting the decat finished first - which I can't really afford this year. Ho hum....
