has it actually melted or is there a smaller pipe running between the 2 sections that are being held by the spring clips?
either way its not as subaru designed so would replace it

Yeah, it's the little smaller clear plastic pipe linking the 2 hoses I'm concerned about - it's melted almost closed. I don't have another scoob to compare with, good to know it's not meant to be like that!
