Default CRANK MOVEMENT

Just done the clutch on the scoob and noticed a lot of crank endfloat when removing the flywheel for skimming, the engine was rebuilt 20,000 miles ago by DRJ Motors in caermarthen..(new genuine subaru block and uprated forged pistons) it doesnt appear to be causing any problems at the moment and the oil seals front and back are dry..any reasons for this happening at this low mileage? Could it be faulty thrust bearings?

You need to use a DTI gauge to measure it properly - think the max.
end float is about 0.25mm(off the top of me head,so double check).
The genuine Subaru short motors are normally built very well.

Default endfloat

This has got a lot of movement in it..3-5mm, I think something has gone wrong internally, could be why I loose my clutch pedal after booting it , on the next press.
