Question recommended Air-con specialists Beds/Herts

Been using the open window form of ventilation through the last hot spell as I didn't get round to having the air-con sorted out over winter

Need to find a localish place or mobile air-con service/recharge specialist. Thought I'd ask for recommondations as I've heard that prices and services can be quite variable and want to get it right first time.

thanks

p.s. the H and L plastic bits on the air-con pipes, are they covers for sight glasses or something else? Do they unscrew or ping off?

I paid £44.95 for a refill at my local Kwik Fit. Apparently my gas was non existant, and the guy there reckoned that when the car was imported they removed the gas from the aircon, and then never refilled it.

Go to halfords and you can you can buy air-con re-gas for £11.99 and it really is incredibly easy. Dont pay someone £30 for 5 mins work when even a complete novice can carry it out!!

I'd heard that the Halfrauds stuff isn't that good and uses stuff that is about to be outlawed, can anyone confirm this as it's my first attempt with a/c.

Also where does it go (again, soory never dealt with a/c)

thanks

Yeah I'd be interested to know how to recharge the air con using the Halfords can as well as my air con is not working.

Ive checked the little glass window on the unit next to the intercooler and it is empty.

Any ideas please anyone?

Cheers
