want to up the boost but not sure what i can go up to safly on a 2000awd imprezza turbo please help me

 

Fuel cut is at around 16-17psi. This tells you that the ECU will not fuel properly above this level, therefore don't try, without all the supporting mods first. If you're thinking of using a manual boost controller you could probably run a safe 14-15psi / 1 bar, but to be honest, if you've got the money it's best to get it remapped for more boost, more safely.
