Default 96 WRX Sti running rough....

hi folks,

A freind of mine has just purchased a 96 WRX STi, The problem is when cold the car seems to be runing really rough to the point of trying to cut out, but when it warms up everything seems to run fine??

could this be a dodgy MAF??? or is all normal?

do an ecu check first to see if anything flags up. could be a number of sensors or could even be down to plugs. Doing an ecu check will point your friend in the right direction.
