Injector size is dependant on the power you are aiming for and the turbo you plan to spec for the car, as the flow rate of a larger turbo has a direct effect on the amount of fuel required. If you are keeping the stock turbo, I can't see larger injectors being necessary, but it does make sense to change the pump.

I should have thought that your mapper would have discussed this with you in advance?

It's a good idea to agree what you are aiming for before you start mapping.

What do you want from the car? Do you know what sort of power you are aiming for and how much you are prepared to spend to get there?

The answers to these questions will determine what parts you will need to change on the car.

When I was looking into this kind of thing, IIRC standard grey 380cc injectors were good for 300bhp or just over, which a Walbro 255 pump will help with. The yellow 440cc's will comfortably support 300bhp and go up to around 340bhp.

So as a rule of thumb I suppose 380's are fine if your target is under 300bhp, 440's if you're going for up to 350bhp. Either way a 255lph fuel pump is a worthwhile mod with no real downside, apart from having to buy it in the first place.
