Has anyone experienced a knocking sound that seems to be synchronised with bumps coming from the back end of an STi5. Its not the exhaust knocking and the previous owner of my car rekons its the Rear Diff Beam Bushes.

Has anyone changed them or had the same problem?

Help appreciated 'cos I'm gonna have to do the job myself.

 

Yes it will be the top hats in the rear struts, if you have uprated the springs or struts the flog out a lot quicker. I have mine fixed by making up some Nolathane bushes to fit.
