Default Std Internals

Hi

My 06 sti uk 2.5

What are the std internals good for bhp wise as it seems lots of mixed reactions some say 350 max others say if mapped correctly with suporting mods 380 to 400 ??

I too have questioned this and the response I had was around 340-350BHP is the safe limit.

Anything over 1.4 bar of boost and the pistons don't like it apparently.

GGR have an MY06 STI running at 370BHP I believe.

Best off talking to a few tuners to see what they think.

if you read the nasioc web site the skys seems to be the limmit ( they have been tuning the engines for a while)

UK tunners seem to be a little less happy with higher figures, suppose only time will tell
