About to change my standard STI back box for a Prodrive Back Box.

Is it straight forward to do...? i guess i can use the existing bolt and gaskit..do i need anything extra? is there a torque setting for when i put the new back box on?

Can someone please let me know asap....as i am goign to the shed to put the car on the ramps...

All changed.... Got a nice burble from it now...

I will need to change the gaskit, and need some longer bolts.. Anyone know where i can get these from and how much should they be?

gasket is probably a dealer only jobbie, one for my old classic was under £10. the bolts you can get from any hardware shop, not very dear.

has it made much difference to the noise sam? recently got an 05 sti and it's too bloody quiet with no burble does yours sound more like a scooby should now? my old classic was a great noise, trying to get a bit of that back.

 

It burbles ok...not too loud though...which is a good thing, however on a warm day i am sure it will be noisy....

Just searching for a resonated centre section now...
