Could anyone recomend a good upgrade intercooler for my 94 wrx saloon, i would get a front mount but dont want all the hassle of cutting bits incase i wana go back to standard. Would an STI top mount fit mine?

Just go for the later TMIC, its much bigger than the Slanty little one.

You need to get a bit of welding done as you can see in the photo below, make up some brackets and play around with the throttle body a bit..
