SUBARU IMPREZA P1 ECU ????????
Will a "SUBARU IMPREZA P1 ECU as fitted to the legendary SUBARU IMPREZA P1 limited edition, mapped by Prodrive giving 276 bhp on UK unleaded fuel" be safe to fit to my my95 wrx and run it on regular unleaded ?
It has no case, so how do i know it really is the stated ecu ?

it will not fit, will not run..
the ecu plugs are different, the pins in the plugs are in different locations, the engine is different (cams, injectors, heads, idle valve, inlet manifold, spark strategy used + more) and therefore the map is different..

I believe you have a Z4 which is the best standard ecu for the early year.. that and the z5.. just use super unleaded in it.. even the uk ecus work best on super and are safer on super.
