Default Air inlet temperature

what would be the critical air inlet temperature? On a run recently mine went to 40 and I was concerned about it going higher in case of the pistons melting.

40 is fine.. I start to take it easy if I see over 50.. which happens only if I sit in traffic for a while.

Agree with Simon, with my old TMIC started to get KL activity at about 50 degrees.

Even with a front mount now been seeing getting on for 40 in recent temps when playing.
