Going to purchase my new exhaust from the turbo back in the next week.
Ive been advised to get an up pipe.

Thanks.

Default Up Pipe

This is the pipe from manifold to turbo. On new models this contains another CAT. Worth removing if your 03 has a CAT fitted otherwise?? Hayward and Scott make nice ones, Magnex do cheap version.

I don't believe that the up-pipe has a cat in an STI. Still worth changing though. I have a 3" Hayward & Scott and v. pleased with it (coupled with decat downpipe I should add).

Excellent - did you get a remap once you fitted your full zorst including up pipe. ?

How does the H+S exhaust sound on your car.

Ive also been quoted 5 hours labour to fit the said exhause , does this sound about right ?

I was told at Prosport thatthe STi doesn't have a cat in the Up-pipe, only the down pipe and following cat pipe. I haveremoved thecat pipe leaving only one cat on mine and passed the MOT no problem.
