after taking the scoob out last night 4 a good bit of right foot action . i notice a loud high pitch sound on low revs about 2500rpm and onwards up the rev range .but once taken easy again seemed to go could the turbo be on the way out no smoke just whinning

 

It certainly sounds like it, if theres no smoke out of the exhaust have a look for exessive oil in intercooler or take off down pipe and feel for play in the shaft
