Question defi gauges red light

hi guys, got a 3 pod defi with oil temp/oil press and boost.
when i start the car the red light on oil pressure stay on for a couple of seconds then goes off, never comes on while driving then pops on again when the engine is turned off.
anyone help??

car is 54 sti

There is nothing wrong, just adjust the warning level on the controller. press warn set until the red light on the oil press gauge is flashing and then use the arrow up and down keys to adjust.

2 - 2.5 bar should be sufficent

Question

just checked and the gauge is measured in (X100 kpa).

when i start the car it idols just under 7

Yep but when its hot it will be idling a lot lower. As stated above, somewhere around the 2 region will be fine.

ok, thanks guys. never noticed it go that low before but will keep an eye on it.

It wont go that low, if it does its a warning that somethings drastically wrong. thats why its a warning light

When your car is stinking hot, see what pressure it is idling at then set the warning figure just below this point.
