come on then scoobyneters....i need to get a definative answer on the Red monifold question 
is it true that the red tops on the STi are polished/ported or just plain bigger ect ect....or are they the same as all other types and just painted to look good I have heard so many different views and its killing me so.............

I have painted maybe 30 or so for various suppliers, off WRX's and STI's and can give you the definitive answer.
There is no difference whatsoever. The only one i have seen that was ported was off a 22B and if it was done in the factory they did not do a fantastic job TBH, just a clean up of the casting split.
