Default advice please

hello,

I would like to do a nice project with my 98 subaru impreza gt but I can't afford buying everything at the same time, so I was thinking in buying the goods when I can.

first, I was thinking in buying a fmic, headers and full 3' decat. after that injectors, fuel pump ( the fuel pressure regulator is it necessary? ), bigger turbo ( like afp5-20 or afp6-49 ) and in the end power fc properly mapped.

do you think this is ok or should I save the money and do everything at the same time? or have I forgot to write some material?

you will be okay changing the exhaust and probably the fmic and fuel pump but the rest of it will need fitting ideally just before the remap.

You would do best to get an uprated fuel pressure regulator although it can be remapped to the standard one.. just depends on the size of the injectors you use and which ones you choose.. some atomise better at a slightly higher pressure.

I was told to buy a bigger turbo, downpipe and do a remap and the car will be nice...
