I think you need to be more specific. Is it a Sport, are you in the USA etc.

If you have a UK sport Auto then the way foreward is to get the chassis right first, and the car will be far quicker from A to B.
To blast off the line? Possibly need a better starting point, ie a turbo of some sort.
