Fault code 53

just ran a diagnostic and came up with fault code 53. fuel pump/circuit

what could it be?

there has been a problem-starts ok, but sometimes takes ages to start.

Thanks, but that's were we found out that it was a fault '53'

Want to know what this is may be caused by?
