Default apexi fc air temp sensor

Does any body know what the specifications for this sensor probe are, also has anybody used this function on the fc/commander ?

AFAIK it's the factory sensor that was installed on some classic STi's although I could be totally wrong. Most classics have a hole for the sensor in the collector pipe in front of the airbox. It seemed weird to me that my Power FC would have the capability to use it but yet it wasn't there. I'd be very interested in getting one fitted actually, and then tweaking the Power FC to take it into account. Perhaps would fix the perennial problem of overboost in cold weather.
