I have the opportunity of buying a 'AEM Ram Cold Air hardpipe Intake' but need some advice.
1) Is it worth replacing my standard airbox without any other additional/supporting mods?
2) Do I need to add a mod to provide additional airflow through the front of the car, or will it work ok as a direct replacement for the std airbox?
3) Any other advice or considerations?

Thanks.

Edit: I have an MY01 WRX with ECUTEK3 remap, HKS panel filter, H&S backbox, Magnex centre pipe, Walbro fuel pump. I also have decat up and down pipes to go on and am thinking of having this to fit at the same time as the decat pipes.

some advice fitting some will say it needs a remap as the maf will see a different air flow, you will have to make sure its the same diameter as stock
personnaly I wouldn't do with out a remap unless I could monitor fuel \ air \det after
regards air flow you could do what I did ( extraxtor from homebase
)

put the mesh fog cover back on and it looks a tidy job
