How do you know its fuel cut?

If when flooring it (always seems to be in higher gears when it happened to me)
you get a very violent loss of power (feels like you're hittang a wall) it could be that its been overfilled with oil(or just an older car) and you boost sensor is mucked up. This leads it to open the waste gate as it thinks the car is overboosting. Can be cured by cleaning out sensor pipes with brake cleaner or a new boost pack (about £100 i think)

Probably need a slightly bigger restrictor in the Boost Control hose. This may be caused by the decat causing boost spikes.

boost sensor is on the offside turret. It is cylindrical and will have eith 2 hoses or 3 hoses coming off from it. Cant miss it (unless its missing)

Your "fuel cut" does the car just cut out and then continue??? It does sound like fuel cut from when you say you are experiencing it (high gears)

You could get a manual boost controller and actually turn the boost down a bit, also fit a boost gauge so you know whether it is overboosting etc
