05 STI PPP Boost - 1.5Bar???
I have defi gauges which read about 1.5bar max when booting it, is this standard or has it been altered. I presume 1.5bar is standard as this car came striaght from subaru dealer. Any help would be great.

1.5 bar sounds high to me for PPP, but i'm only guessing going off other PPP cars i've had (MY98 and MY06)... neither were Stis tho

They have a peak boost and then drop back down, though as Tony say's that does sound a little high for a PPP'd car.

Do not trust on Defis, They are over-read....The difference is about .1 bar of boost.

My WR1 only runs 1.4 BAR (1.5 BAR peaks), so you might have a problem there. Might be worth checking for a leaking boost pipe.

Never found my last set of defi's to over read, they were pretty much spot on, the mechanical gauges will have a tendancy to over read though.
