I hope the pictures come out. I have taken pics of where the oil seems to have spilled / leaked... there maybe more than one source... I think the steering oil is leaking... but so much that it has reached the bottom of the engine...???

Some have suggested 'rocker gasket' on the left...???

Where is it coming from...???

Unhappy How much will it cost

I know the power steering oil does have a sludge or a slow leak... but did wonder whether it could reach towards the bottom of the engine...

So, its suggested that its a rocker gasket... How much will this cost to get repaired and cleaned...?

Thanks

AS you have already identified there seems to be 2 possibilities.. the rocker and the power steering fluid..??

Power steering fluid is easy to check since IF you are having to fill up the reservoir bottle THEN you have got a leak... the level shouldn't really change.

Remove the cap and have a look at the small dipstick, you'll notice there are 2 levels...hot and cold...
It would be well worth checking the level when the car is cold...and everything has settled/ drained.

Power steering fluid also has a reddish tinge to it.. well the stuff in my WRX has..so having a look underneath the engine for drips or even placing a sheet of newspaper to catch any drips may also help..??

Good luck

Remember that the ps fluid reservoir can look full, when it's actually nowhere near. Seriously.
