Default MOT advice needed a.s.a.p ..

i have a 94L wrx wagon with dump valve . big air filter and a full de cat with magnex 6x4 oval back box . will it pass the MOT ????? thanks waz

Some people say they have managed to pass without any cats.. Luck of the draw IMHO..

this is looking to good ... no negative coments so far ... going for a free emisions test art 13.30 today at the same garage thats doing it .. i might have to put the middle section back in if all fails ... fingers crossed

just got back and it did not pass on all 3 . its to rich ... emissions ok , so ive had to put the middle cat back on . going for gold again this afternoon ... will keep you all posted ... also the mot tester said it would fail on my sun strip .. to big but he passed it twice before and ive got the old mot's to proove it..

I just had mine tested which is also a 94 wrx import. Passed with no probs with full decat system on it.

just got back the second time round .with middle cat on . .... it passed . BUT 2moro when it goes in i will have to get the car hot hot hot .... the tester sat there for about 5 mins reving the car at 3.5 thousand revs .... before it made a differance... bloody cats i hate them ... lets cook the cat .. FAST IDLE TEST

C O was 0.063 max limit 0.200
H C was 22 max limit 200
lambda was 1.007 the limit was 0.970 - 1.030

NATURAL IDLE TEST
CO was 0.026 max was 0.300
this dont mean nothing to me ... GOOD OR BAD ...

Default IT SAILED STRAIGHT THROUGH

took the car in at 2ish and was out by 3 . with a brand new computerised print out .. MOT . nothink needed doing ... well happy.... sailed through the emissions but needed the middle cat back on to do it .....
