was thinking of putting one of these on my uk300 wrx..
has anyone got one of these on there scoob....
if so would like some feedback..pics if possible..

advice: dont get one, ever.
they are a glorified bleed valve which goes on a break servo pipe or something. its just another gimmick aimed at nova's/corsa etc.
TBH, having a turbo you have tonnes of other mods you can do, that will actually do something.

 

Had one on my previous car a swift gti, it did not make a blind bit of difference just made a wierd noise that was about it.

 

They're not a bleed valve. A bleed valve basically fools the ECU into allowing higher boost, this device simply allows a little extra turbulent air into the inlet manifold under certain conditions. On some cars it has been known to improve fuel consumption and throttle response a bit. The unit shuts under positive pressure (boost) so is of limited benefit on turbo'd cars.

A mate of mine put one on his Omega ....and no difference what so ever

 

I mean a bleed valve, but not used in the same way. If you have a look at one, you will see its the same design as a 2 way bleed valve, but made of plastic.

 

I aggree, I thought about it afterwards and yes, it does actually bleed air into the manifold. I meant that it wasn't a bleed valve in the sense of those used in turbo applications.

No good for a turbo but it did work on my old Ford festa - bit better fuel consumption etc.
