Hiya
I am going looking at a car that has an APS cold air feed system on it. When he fitted it first the maf failed and this was noted by uneven idling. He changed it and got the car mapped and the only other engine mods are an exhaust system.
My question is, would the fact that the maf failed have done damage even though all seems fine now, am I buying a car that even though fine now it may come back to bite me as a result of a previos maf failing or does it matter once the job was sorted.
This happened about 3k ago.
