Default Fitting New Seats

Ive got some new reclining seats for my MY95 WRX. I am not sure of the make though. All they have on the bottom is a set of runners. Do I need to get new subframes? Can I get subaru specific ones or universal ones. Or could I modify the orignal ones off my old seats. Ive looked through old threads but all seem to be about fitting Cobras etc.

Any advice greatly appreciated as I have these new seats sitting here and havent got a clue how to fit them. All the subframes I have managed to find online appear to be for specific makes like sparco etc. I was told by the person who supplied the seats that all I needed was a universal subframe.

you may need new rails for your seats. Rails fit the seat to your cars settings, so they are specific eg. Subaru to Recaro etc\

eg.

Exactly I do not know what make the seats are they are imported in from China to match the leather retrim I have had. All the Rails I have seen for sale online say they are for a specific make of seat e.g. Sparco etc...

Ive just took them to my Mechanic to fit. Looks like to much grief for me. Said he would use the old Subaru subframes and adapt them to fit the new seats. Didnt think would be a problem to fit..

Suprised out of 50000 users on here that no one has ever fit new seats..... Then again if I had mentioned Dump Valves or Lexus Lights I would have got loads of abuse....
