Ive got a 99 sti and was wondering what would be the next best thing to get for more power. Aiming one day for about 400bhp but in stages

At the moment ive got a downpipe and exhaust, fmic, walbro fuel pump, and an apexi avcr.

Im getting a power fc but was wondering what after that?

Im thinking a tubular manifold and fuel pressure regulator.

Is the manifold the next most restrictive part?

A bigger turbo and injectors will be needed for the power your looking at.

Do you still have the 2.5" exhaust system, if so that will need to be changed
for a 3".

lol yeah just short arms.

Would it be best to get a turbo before headers?

I know ill need them both in the end but didnt know what would make the biggest difference at the moment?

For sure the turbo would make the biggest difference.

I got some ported headers and up-pipe off Harvey and then a Power Fc off Andy F and got some advice from them saying that if I had the same mods as you've got, I've got everything same as you apart from the fmic but I've got a APS CAK and Fuel press reg, I have been advised that if I fitted a fmic TD05/06 turbo and injectors it should be pushing out around 450 don't qoute me on that though!! Have a word with Harvey the headers made a noticable difference even before the remap.
