INJECTOR UPGRADE

INJECTOR UPGRADE
HI Guys
I need to install some new injectors before I take my car for remapping
but as you have probably guest I need to install them and drive the car
to where it is being mapped
I have an APEXI POWER FC & CONTROLER and I'm upgrading from standard
380's to 440's I have read the apexi instructions but just don't quite
Understand.
Injector pulse correction value
This bit I understand I think.
380 / 440 = 0.863 which equates to approx 86.5%
But it’s the bit about injector lag correction I can't work out
As I don't know the current lag time for the 380's and 440's
or am I being completely thick.
Please help.
Many Thanks
Tony

Don't worry about it, either just drive there off boost, or set the injector correction to about 86% to correct for the extra fuel the bigger injectors would add for each opening pulse. WHOOPS - see below
Don't know about lag time so ignore it, let the mapper sort that for you! Should'nt hurt it but don't thrash the engine!
BUT as I just recalled, the Apexi THINKS it is set for for 440 injectors anyway .. ( I only have my PFC set to 80% for 550 injectors from the 380's post mapping, AndyF said it was due to the above pre set of 440's in the PFC ).
Best bet - call the PFC supplier or your Mapper!
