change the cam belt on a wrx scooby mine has done 40k

 

sorry and what price are you looking at to get it done

 

60k i think is the cambelt service.....couldnt tell you the cost but it wont be that cheap

 

45k around £200 fitted.

Also have to consider age...... i bought my 2001 WRX last year, it was just approaching 4 yrs old but had only done 23k miles...

Book says 60k or 4 years so i got it done, cost £150 for parts n labour but that was a mate who done it.... not worth risking it considering that you will pay 10x more if it goes!
