Default Lambda sensor stuck on 0 volts.

Very quick one, this: should my lambda sensor be 'stuck' at 0.00v on idle and very light constant throttle? After a little while it might fluctuate a bit as I'd expect it to, and on full throttle it reads around 0.85v, but it seems sluggish to get up off 0v. Under other circumstances it seems to sweep back and forth pretty well, but AFAIK it shouldn't stick at one voltage on idle on light throttle?

BTW Trying to get to the bottom of a light throttle hesitation problem when I suddenly accelerate...no luck trying other things so maybe a dodgy lambda is the cause?

Means its very lean given its behaving under other circumstances. Sounds as though the sensor is working ok. I would expect the oem sensor to read over 0.9 v on boost at wot mind so it could be just "tired" but if the car is using for closed loop then a tired sensor will just mean richer running.

best regards

So you don't think swapping it for a new one will make much difference?
