hole for oil pressure sender?????
is there another hole to fit an oil pressure sender on the block, not the one under the alternator???

I just took the alternator off and hey presto!!! the sender was too big!!!
thanks for the info about the adaptor hose lads, ill give it a shot.
is it ok to leave the original sensor disconnected? does the ecu read anything from this?

i found another above the third cylinder, but again the sender wont fit. I have made enquiries about a hose/ exstension so fingers crossed !!!

Had the senders fitted for mine recently at Zen Performance and the solution, due to the size of the sender and the proximity of the alternator, was to remotely mount it using a steel braided hose (made at a hose specialist just around the corner). Existing oil presure warning was retained ( by drilling and tapping into the new sender block, I think), something to do with it being monitored by the ecu I think). Looked like a good solution that they would use again as they had a number of the braided hoses made up.

This is what I am doing. You might still need an extension pipe but it is easier to get to as the IC is easier to remove than the alternator.
