Unhappy Engine Transplant Question

I have just bought a my95 wrx, the engine popped last night, bottom end is now shot so far as we can tell.

Quickest solution seems to be a transplant. Ive been offered an STI v2 engine will it bolt straight in and work with my ecu etc.

Thanks in advance...........John

no you have a phase 2 engine as does the STi2........................no need to swap anything, suggest you take it to somewhere else that knows a bit about what your proposing
