ask them to retrack it with you in the car so you can make sure steering wheel stays in the middle if its still off after that then there may be another prob but they tracked it so if there was thay should have a rough idea what it is????

Yes, get them to do it again. I have had to take mine back after alignment more than 3 times. When they tie down the wheel, it's either not straight as they are not sitting in the seat and don't have a good view of the wheel or it moves slightly.

If the steerins out after the alignment they done it wrong IF they say something else is wrong ie to mutch set back or rear trust angle then they are still at fault for not doing the pre-alignment checks correctly

Sounds like they set the tracking with the steering wheel of center. The old fix was to remove the streering wheel and set it up straight. With airbags though thats a bit more involved. Take it to someone who knows what there doing. Mine always goes to a local garage that uses 4 wheel laser alignment. All the sensors are connected to a computer which displays the values for any car thats in the program. Ive had a whole lot of tracking jobs in the past many have left me with tires still wearing uneven and the steering wheel of center. The guys with the laser machine do a great job since they not only check toe but camber and alignment with the rear wheels.

Yep as above alignment has been doen with the wheel off centre, the alignment will probably be perfect, just looks a bit **** when the wheel points to once side when your going in a straight line.. lol!

Odd tyres or badly inflated tyres can cause this as well.
One of the few pre checks PS do is the tyre pressures..

I had two people last week with less than 15psi in them and they wondered why it didn't handle !!

If you have Nankangs as well, the best use you could put them to is slinging them round a speed camera and setting light to it.

i let a lot of pressure out of my tires when its ice'y. just a tip. Wide wheels and ice dont mix even on a 4x4.

I've had exactly the same problem.

Got a set of 18's on, so thought I'd get the alignment/tracking checked by a local reputable tyre "specialist".
They used 4 wheel laser, super, all singing, all dancing, bells and whistles alignment and still (after two return trips).....my steering wheel is off to one side slightly.
The car also pulls to the left a bit and it never before.

I think I'll just wait for the opportunity to go to Powerstation after I get new tyres. May get the bump-steer mod done at the same time.
