2001 Y Turbo 2000 Classic Hesitation
I have had my car for 2 weeks. Was in need of a service when i bought it and i thought this was reason for its hesitation.
It hesitated under boost (3000rpm upwards). Changed plugs, fuel filter, oil, air filter - car still does exactly the same. It does it in all gears when under boost.
I have noticed that there is an adjustable boost fitted could it be this?
Also have taken MAF off and cleaned but still the same. Don't think MAF is failing as I removed it under idling and the car cut out immediately - showing it is still working.
HELP!!!

It sounds to me like the good old 'my00' hesitation..... if it's under light throttle, sadly most cars seem to do it to some degree, most do it more when cold, i put up with it mostly, but if it does it more when cold, imagine if it were an older car with a manual choke..... it's that type of feeling.....

It is fitted with standard turbo (TD04?)
But is quite a serious hesitation to a point that it slows the car quite noticeable. Is there anything I can check?
I am going to get it dyno'd next week and see if it can be sorted out.
