Default Help engine won't start!!!!

Can anyone help me please. Just gone out to start our 98 turbo 2000(uk car) and it won't start . The engine turns over and there is def. fuel going though but it won't fire up? This has happened twice before but started after about the fourth or fifth turn of the key. Now it just does'nt want to know. The engine is standard apart from a dump valve.
Any help would be much appecicated.Cheers Graham

could be a dodgy crank sensor, may even have come unplugged. Its found underneath the alternator might be worth unplugging it and trying to clean the terminals

How do you know there is fuel? I was told that if its the crank sensor then fuel isnt allowed since the ECU doesnt see the engine turning!
I have to say the crank sensor sorted me out but i never checked if there was fuel!
it only takes a 5 minutes to remove the crank sensor. there is one set screw (bolt) holding it in. Its easier to unplug once its out in anycase..
